Muse Charm: what Meta’s pocket AI device is, and when it’s coming
At Connect 2026, Meta showed Muse Charm, a small device for talking to your Muse agent without a phone. Meta has said very little officially. Here’s what’s confirmed, what’s only reported, and what’s still unknown.
Quick answer
Muse Charm is a pocket-sized device for talking to Meta’s Muse agent without your phone. Meta calls it “the first device made for Muse” and says it uses “a state of the art real-time voice model.” It isn’t on sale and has no announced price. Mark Zuckerberg said Meta is aiming for December 2026. Reports citing Bloomberg describe a 2-inch screen, cameras, a fingerprint sensor and its own 5G connection, at roughly smartwatch prices, but Meta hasn’t confirmed those details.

What Meta has confirmed
- What it is: “A delightful and fun device built for you to talk and interact with your Muse,” fitting in your pocket, with “a state of the art real-time voice model.”1
- Its job: Meta’s product page calls it “the first device made for Muse, your personal AI agent,” for handing off tasks like finding deals, booking reservations and managing your inbox.2
- Timing: “We’ll have more to share later this year.”1
- Sign-up: When we looked, Meta’s Muse Charm page had only a “Notify me” form. “US” was the only location option on October 2, 2026, and there was no price or preorder.2

Is it worth waiting for?
You don’t need Charm to use Muse: the app works today on your phone, the web, Mac and WhatsApp. Charm is about convenience, reaching Muse without unlocking a phone. Until Meta publishes the price, data plan and privacy details, there’s nothing to decide. A device with cameras, microphones and an always-ready agent deserves a close look at those details when they arrive. Our Muse safety guide covers how Muse handles your data today.
Other Muse hardware is on the way too: Meta says Muse is coming to its AI glasses “in the coming months.”1 We track both in our updates timeline.
