About MetaMuseAI
An independent publication that explains Muse, Meta’s personal AI agent, in plain English, with sources and dates on everything.
Last updated 2026-09-30
Why this site exists
Muse launched on September 8, 2026 and changed fast in its first weeks: new connectors, a Mac app, new countries, new limits. Information about it is scattered across Meta’s newsroom, its Help Center, research posts, press coverage and user threads, and a lot of what’s online already mixes up Muse with Meta AI or with Muse Spark, the model behind both.
MetaMuseAI brings that information into one place, keeps it current, and makes clear where each fact comes from.
Where we are
MetaMuseAI is based in Pakistan. It is written in American English for readers in the United States, where Muse launched, and Muse availability, pricing and examples are described from a US reader’s point of view.
We are independent
MetaMuseAI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. We don’t have inside access, we don’t speak for Meta, and we’re not an official support channel. For account or billing problems, Meta’s own Help Center is the place to go; our guides link to it where relevant.
Who writes it
MetaMuseAI is written by Alison Jack, an independent AI tools researcher and technology writer. Alison tests new AI platforms and turns complicated features, access requirements and workflows into practical guides.
How we research
- Official sources first. Meta’s newsroom, Help Center, research blog and developer pages.
- First-hand testing. Walkthroughs and troubleshooting are done on Alison’s own Muse account. Features we can’t access ourselves (for example, ones limited to other countries or not yet released) are labeled as based on Meta’s documentation or reporting.
- Evidence labels. Statements are marked as Tested, , Reported or User reports.
- Dates. Pages show when they were published, last updated and last fact-checked.
The full process is in our editorial policy.
What we cover
Muse itself (the agent app on phone, web, WhatsApp and Mac), its plans and limits, connectors, privacy and security design, troubleshooting, comparisons with other AI agents, and dated news about releases. We also explain closely related Meta products, such as Muse Spark, Meta AI and Muse Code, when that helps you understand Muse.
How the site is funded
MetaMuseAI plans to support itself with display advertising. Ads will always be labeled and kept separate from editorial content, and advertisers have no say in what we write. We don’t currently use affiliate links; if that changes, affected pages will say so clearly.
